Touristing.

This past week we had visitors so we took them around Chicago to see the sights! Some our own family hadn't been to (mainly Steve, K & L) so it was fun to experience it all together.

Of course, we made a stop at the Danada Equestrian Center in Wheaton to visit our
favorite friendly beasts...

Then we went to the Chicago River and took a water taxi ride- thanks to our friend who helps run the boat!

Then we went to Millenium Park downtown, which is right on Michigan Ave., and took in more tourist landmarks... such as this water tower thing- don't remember what it's called.

And the infamous, "Bean" which is one of the largest freestanding architectural structures. It made Steve claustrophobic to go underneath- kind of weird.

It is a giant reflective thing- the girls really liked it.

Then we found some dancers practicing in the outdoor Pavilion, so we sat and watched them for a little while.

And then we found our way to Buckingham Fountain- the girls have never seen it up close. It is pretty amazing.

And if you look closely, you can see the horse and Indian statue in the background. Kailyn loves to look at it every time we drive by it.
